Hello. Let me introduce myself ...

 

I am Jodi Consani, a lover of all things design. I have worked in some aspect of the design industry for past 20 years. The bulk of my career was in Sales for Maharam, a leading provider of textiles to architects and designers. Over the past 5 years I have worked as a freelance designer in both residential and commercial projects. Most recently I oversaw the design and construction of a $2 million luxury, custom home in the Caribbean.  I had made the move to Miami from Michigan last year to be closer to the resources I needed, as well as, to be in closer proximity to the project location. Since I have wrapped up work in the area I am looking forward to moving back North to be closer to friends and family, which are in both Grand Rapids & Detroit. I also am excited to grow my portfolio and reconnect with the Chicago design community. A community I was heavily involved with during a 5 year period of my tenure with Maharam.  I am currently engaged with 2 residential projects in the area and have several referrals in the place. In between projects I continue the development of a one off furniture line and lifestyle brand company.
